As people of faith, one of the ways that we find God in times of crisis, is to acknowledge— not ignore— the pain. The God of Jacob, and after Jacob, and beyond Jacob who we celebrate here at the Table is a God too real and too big and too glorious to work according to human expectations and timetables.
